Annnd here we go. The Verge is now running the story.

Courts have appointed two administrators to take over VanMoof.

They've run out of money.

@eierund Can still unlock and change settings, but certain parts of the app have gone offline (ride data, maps).

Little birdies tell me VanMoof has officially collapsed. They'll be making a statement shortly.

If you own one of their bikes now is the time to grab your encryption keys before their servers go offline.

Edit: Linking to the "Bikey" app which is a lot easier to use: bikey-app.cowboy.bike

Fewer emails. Always fewer emails.

Lots of little refinements in the latest Big Mail build.

One I'm quite happy with is the Smartbox editor now warns you of 'impossible' combinations. And a bit like Xcode, gives you a one tap fix.

Now hopefully for a few less support emails 😅

Shop local? Shop indie!

So many cool apps on sale today and tomorrow.

A few stand outs:

40% off Kaleidoscope (!!) @KaleidoscopeApp

20% off Tasks @mufasayc

60% off RapidWeaver @dancounsell@techhub.social

Amazing work @matt1corey for organising 👏

@mattiem ohh yes I suppose it could be List as well (lots of deleting rows).

And hmm would opting out still show the crash in ASC? I see there has been a crash, but just no “Open in Xcode" button. I can open every single iOS 16 one, just hit or miss with iOS 17.

Question for my iOS dev lovelies:

- Why are some iOS 17 crash reports available to view in Xcode, but some aren't?

- How do you go about tracking down exceptions that seem to be raised inside SwiftUI? (I don't use UICollectionView, but I assume LazyVStack does??)

@santim I'm certainly not asking anyone to do anything they don't want to do. I'm flattered and grateful that so many people are interested. But there is a limit to how many people I can manage right now. Last time was a queue and people became frustrated with that too. I'm going as fast I can. No one wants this app out more than I do.

In 1998, I stayed online for over 20 hours straight and got a warning email from my ISP

@gadgetero currently having to as someone is spamming the service 😩
