@phill while I wait for BigMail's drop, how's your home made 5K monitor holding up? Went to see your old tweets and saw that you're the one I saw that built it a while back.

@georgeguimaraes it hasn't spontaneously caught on fire yet…so good! It does suffer from the same burn in though as the older 5k iMacs. Also never quite got the colour calibration down.
Will probably get a Studio Display when I can afford one!
@phill but color is not the same as the display from my Macbook Pro, so that's a problem. Nice to see yours is holding up!
@georgeguimaraes ahh very nice! It is surprising though so many years on and there still aren't that many 5K displays!
@phill I finally was able to find a decent 27" 2.5K display here in Brazil. So, not retina, but at least I don't suffer from scaling problems anymore.
